CVCS and nearby Wilson College of Chambersburg have signed a dual-enrollment agreement in which CVCS students can take Wilson College classes at a reduced tuition rate.
Seniors and juniors will be able to enroll at the economical rate of $325 per class, a fraction of what they would normally pay for a college class. CVCS will work with students and their schedules to accommodate the classes, which will be held on the Wilson campus, about a five-minute drive from CVCS.
“We are really excited about this agreement,” CVCS Principal Tim Murr said.
A Wilson College representative will be here this month to talk to students about dual-enrollment opportunities. A complete list of classes will be released in the near future.
“This will be a great opportunity for students who want to get a head start on their college classes,” said Tom Coccagna, CVCS guidance counselor. “It’s also a good way to help parents deal with the ever-increasing cost of college.”
